WARD

There is something quietly reassuring about a kitchen that feels rooted in tradition while still responding beautifully to modern living. In this project, the design settles into its setting with an effortless sense of balance. Deep navy cabinetry anchors the space with confidence, providing a rich contrast against the light and airy walls. Above, the soft white upper cabinets lift the room visually, reflecting daylight from the windows and creating a sense of openness within the more intimate proportions of the kitchen.

Brass detailing runs throughout the design like a subtle thread of warmth. From the handles and drawer pulls to the elegant tapware, these accents introduce a gentle glow against the darker cabinetry, lending the room both character and refinement. The work surfaces in bright white provide a clean, crisp stage for everyday cooking, while the marble veining adds quiet texture rather than overt drama. Beneath, large-format stone tiles ground the space with durability and practicality, well suited to the rhythm of daily life.

The specification of the kitchen reflects the same thoughtful balance between design and practicality. The cabinetry is drawn from the Häcker Systemat collection, with AV6055 velvet blue base units paired with crisp white wall units to create a layered and elegant composition. The brass hardware comes from Hendel & Hendel’s Callcott range, providing a refined yet tactile finish that complements the cabinetry beautifully. Integrated appliances from Neff ensure the kitchen performs effortlessly behind the scenes, including a washing machine, undercounter fridge and freezer, and a built-in Neff Design hood extractor. Underfoot, durable Karndean flooring provides a warm, natural appearance while offering resilience for everyday use.
