This striking kitchen, bathed in natural light and poised with architectural elegance, is a celebration of contrast, clarity and calm. The design plays out like a quiet conversation between bold modernism and refined restraint with the deep and on-trend NCS Blue cabinetry anchoring the space against a crisp, light backdrop. The open-plan layout allows the island to perform as a sculptural centrepiece, its monolithic form softened by a delicate waterfall edge in Unistone Carrara Misterio. Three pendant lights hover above like suspended punctuation marks, drawing the eye to the generous island and its invitation to gather. Timber-toned bar stools echo the warmth of the garden beyond, while sleek floor-to-ceiling units are seamlessly integrated, creating a sense of rhythm and symmetry. There’s an openness here, a sense of the kitchen breathing and stretching which is enhanced by the large sliding doors dissolving the boundary between indoors and out, inviting the surrounding landscape into the frame.
The cabinetry, painted in a considered pairing of NCS Blue and soft Light Grey, integrates a full suite of Neff appliances. The island houses the client’s own AEG wine cooler. Above the Blanco Andano sink, the Quooker Flex tap in stainless steel offers instant boiling water with precision, while LED strip lighting softly washes the back wall in ambient glow. The surfaces, topped in the elegant veining of Carrara Misterio quartz, are not only visually light but also immensely durable. This kitchen is not just a stage for culinary preparation; it’s a place designed to be lived in, shared, and enjoyed across seasons with its ever-changing view of the outside world.
