The combination of natural materials and produced elements always makes for the most interesting of designs. There’s a beautiful overlap between a traditional version of comfort and a more stylised, modern one. This project is a wonderful example of how this idea can exist and create the most welcoming, social of spaces within the home. A simple statement of a wooden breakfast bar that connects to the beautiful, focal kitchen island transforms the room into the most inviting of environments, urging togetherness in the most social of settings. All of this is combined with fantastic hanging lighting that spotlights the core of the room and the ultra clean units that provide both a sense of colour contrast to the wooden, tile and white dominant aspects of the kitchen and a beautiful, near-reflective attribute to make the design shine even further.
The kitchen units are Laser Brilliant Pearl Grey with a Unistone Carrara Misterio worktop and a Blanco Andano stainless steel sink finished by a Quooker Flex boiling water tap. A Caple wine cooler is also integrated and all appliances are Neff including the venting hob.
