Kitchen islands are such a wonderful statement in the engine room of any home and in particular because they are so customisable. In our latest project we see a perfect display of just that, with a beautiful balance of contrasting and complementing textures, colours and surfaces. The large space allows for the island to take centre stage in a very on-trend blue that looks stunning against the understated grey that occupies the rest of the rooms units. To accentuate the statement island in the kitchen space, hanging warm lights hover over it drawing anyone who enters the room to gravitate towards it.

The kitchen units are Sherwood-Nottingham painted in both Hague Blue and Cornforth throughout. The kitchen worktop is Silestone Eternal Statuario and a Dekton Orix vreakfast bar. Sitting with them is a Blanco Andano Stainless Steel sink with a stainless steel Quooker Flex tap. All appliances throughout are Miele, combined by a Westin ceiling extractor.
